Hotels Com Price Match Update 2021. I reached out to our friends at hotelscom to see what happened here. We can’t price match for claims made on the day of check in, for package bookings, or for bookings where prices aren’t.
Hotels.com does not really price match if the reservation is non refundable. Please be prepared to direct us to the ad or website that is displaying the current lower price you would like to match. Normally i would just book with them and cancel the other reservation.
If you have a refundable booking, call us and we’ll rebook the cheaper price and immediately refund the original (higher priced) booking.
Hotels.com gets the sale (plus, importantly, the opportunity to price match against a competitor instead of losing the sale to cancelations and external rebookings) and the customer gets the assurance that whatever happens, they've snagged the room at a price that won't be a cent higher than anywhere else.
